Maison Fauve – Ressac Sweatshirt Pattern
This sweatshirt captures all the best features of a stylish sweatshirt: a perfectly balanced fit—neither too loose nor too tight—along with a comfortable length and sporty raglan sleeves. Maison Fauve’s signature touches elevate the design, including delicate decorative darts at the front neckline, structured side panels accentuated with ribbing, and a seamlessly integrated patch pocket that enhances the overall look.
For this make, we recommend sweatshirt fabrics like jersey, French terry, or sweater knits, paired with ribbing. The Ressac sweatshirt combines both, though the side yoke and under-sleeve can also be made from sweatshirt fabric. For the best fit, keep the collar, bottom band, and cuffs in ribbing, or adjust the pattern to match your fabric’s stretch.
The Tessuti Robe is a versatile and comfortable garment, perfect for loungewear or as a beach cover up. This loose-fitting robe features a neck band with hanging loop, dropped shoulders, wide bracelet length sleeves, sleeve bands and large patch pockets. It comes with a tie belt that feeds through rouleau belt loops for a stylish and secure fit. The pattern is suitable for a range of lightweight fabrics and can be easily adjusted to your desired length.
We suggest woven fabrics only such as Linen, viscose, silk satin, cotton, double cotton gauze, rayon/silk velvet, and lightweight wool.
Maven – Bloom Skirt Sewing Pattern
The Bloom Skirt is a timeless design with a 1950s-inspired silhouette, featuring a gathered waist that adds volume and movement. With its clean, unfussy details, it’s a versatile make that works beautifully for those who prefer minimalist styling or want to showcase a bold print without interruptions. The skirt includes Maven’s signature in-seam pockets, a centre back invisible zip, and a deep waistband that sits at the natural waist to enhance the fit-and-flare shape, though it can be easily adjusted for a custom fit. It fastens discreetly with snap fasteners for a seamless look and is unlined for a lightweight, breathable feel.
Designed as an excellent skill-building project, this pattern allows sewists to focus on mastering techniques such as in-seam pockets, invisible zips, understitching, stitch-in-the-ditch, and gathering. With Maven’s expert instructions and additional free photo tutorials, you’ll have all the support you need to create a beautifully finished skirt.
This glorious skirt suits light to medium-weight wovens like cotton poplin, linen, chambray, lightweight denim, satin, and taffeta. Choose a stiffer fabric for structure or viscose for a softer drape. The scallop hem is easiest to sew in stable fabrics like poplin.
For a formal look, try taffeta with a contrast hem or navy satin. A bold print in linen or silk makes a statement, while linen or poplin creates a stylish everyday skirt. Originally midi-length, it can be easily adjusted, with brocade or Broderie Anglaise making a stunning maxi.
Puff & Pencil - Silhouette Blouse x Trumpet Sleeve Pattern
The Silhouette blouse sewing pattern features a fitted design with princess seams and a front hook closure, with an option for ties. The Trumpet sleeve has a slight flare, a high two-layer cuff, and front slits (optional). All Puff and Pencil sleeves fit the Silhouette blouse, though it isn’t compatible with their collars. The Trumpet sleeve fits all their blouses and dresses.
This pattern is made for woven fabrics. For a crisp appearance, choose a fabric with structure that doesn't drape too softly. For a more elegant, feminine style, opt for fabrics with a nice drape. If you're unsure, poplin, woven viscose, and cotton twill are all excellent choices for this blouse.
