  • 152cm wide, 100% cotton 8-wale corduroy fabric in a sand-coloured hue. 
  • Perfect for jackets and heavier tunics, dresses or bags.
  • The soft, fine texture of needlecord adds a touch of warmth and comfort.

  • The 8 wale refers to the number of cords or raised rows of velvet per inch, making this a heavy weight corduroy fabric.

  • Ideal for garments that need a little extra structure and hold.

  • Pre-wash this fabric before you sew so that it shrinks to fit and doesn't bleed in the wash.

Washing instructions

  • Gentle wash at 30°C with non-bio detergent on a low spin.
  • Do not overfill the drum as this can crush the pile.
  • Take out of washing machine immediately and dry flat.
  • Do not wash with other fabrics that produce lint. Once made up wash corduroy clothes inside out. 
  • Do not dry or store in direct sunlight (color may bleach).
  • To iron, use a medium setting moving in the direction of the pile with a press cloth.

  • Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
