Description
A 150cm wide polyester/cloth/linen look dress fabric in a marl dark olive green. It isn’t so dark of course, it’s just the use of different shades of yarn in the weaving of the cloth. And there is a lot of weave interest as well, it is not a flat cloth by any stretch of the imagination. And being made of polyester it is obviously very easy care, virtually non-iron.

I bought this fabric to make a pair of slim leg Pietra trousers which has worked perfectly, easy to sew and pressed well. The fabric is going to be great in the summer, does not crease like linen but is nice and breezy to wear. Washed perfectly and little ironing required. I fancy a wide leg version in the blue next,

Bought this because I wanted to make a linen shirt for my partner but didn't want to buy linen for my first attempt. This material was a great substitute and I really wish there were more colours so I could continue using it! It's pretty stretchy, so the fitted shirt (followed a vogue pattern) has a decent amount of give, which was perfect (the shirt's first outing was a ceilidh and he had no problems with movement). The colour was exactly what I expected from the photos. Paired with white linen buttons, and I used black thread for a little contrast. All in all, my partner was very happy and has received many compliments
